picnic at the romantic and secluded ruins of Old Wardour Castle, in bedded
deep in the Wiltshire countryside. This 14th century castle is rare, almost

Bath with more listed buildings than London! Tour The Roman Baths with
plunge pools and hot springs - plus Bath Abbey, with its impressive vaulted

Day 2. Thermae Bath Spa - the only place in the UK where
you can bathe in natural, hot spring water - used for thousands of years
for healing, relaxation and leisure. The exquisite Hot Bath, designed
in the 18th century, has now been restored as a sanctuary of spa, health
and well being with sophisticated modern facilities. Treatments include:
Watsu - floating in the natural thermal waters while being massaged by
a specialized therapist - a wonderful experience.
Tour the Cotswold's hills see famous towns, villages and off-the-beaten-track
hamlets. The Cotswold's is renowned for its gardens, visit Hidcote Manor
Gardens, one of the most delightful and influential gardens in England.
Created in the 20th century by the great horticulturist Major Lawrence
Johnston; a series of small garden 'rooms' connected to the house creating
the illusion of an additional annex of rooms, halls and corridors. Close
by is another sublime Cotswold beauty, Kiftsgate Court Gardens, situated

Dungeons, torture chambers and 'King Maker' attraction. From April see
the world's largest trebuchet, measuring 18 meters high and weighing 22

Day
2. Tour Bath's elegant squares, crescents and tour the World
famous Roman Bath's, your child friendly guide will help the younger members
of family understand the Roman way of life, but make it fun. Tour off
the tourist trail and explore England's hidden valleys, quiet villages
and local pubs. Our secret castle will be revealed, isolated, forgotten

Longleat House is one of England's greatest Elizabethan country homes
and the family will enjoy a visit to the state apartments. Your chauffeur-guide
after some encouragement will drive through the safari park, featuring

of African lions. Finish the day getting lost in the world's largest yew

Royal Windsor Castle, the University City of Oxford and explore the English

Day
1. Windsor is the largest inhabited castle in the world and remains
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II weekend home, but is not exclusively used
by the Queen on the weekends. The Queen entertains heads of state at Windsor
Castle usually during April. Recent state visits held at Windsor Castle
include the President and Madame Chirec of France to mark the centenary
of the Entente Cordiale in 2004. Royal weddings also take place at Windsor
Castle, Prince Edward and Miss Sophie Rhys-Jones were married at St Georges
chapel in 1999.
Today Windsor Castle is still a working Royal Palace and also accepts
tourist visits. The grand state apartments, St Georges Chapel and Queen
Mary's dolls house can be visited. Enjoy lunch in Windsor town.
Oxford's
history begins with the priory of St Frideswide, founded in AD 727. The
city became known as a centre of learning and by the year 1200 many English
scholars had returned from study in Europe. Today there are thirty-nine
college's, and seven private halls. Tour Christ Church College, Oxford
and see the incredible dinning hall, Cathedral and ancient cloisters.
See the divinity school and old schools quadrangle, masterpieces of early
17th century architecture. Your guide will give you a true insight into
life at Oxford, its architecture and history. Continue your tour through

Day
2. After breakfast tour the city of Bath. Tour the Roman Bath's
museum and Assembly Rooms, a hive off activity in the late 18th century,
a meeting place for the differing levels of the polite classes. Time was
spent tea drinking, playing cards, dancing, meeting the opposite sex and
socializing in general. The Assembly Rooms also feature a superb museum
of fashion. Depart Bath and venture into the countryside and enjoy lunch
at a country inn.
Tour Stourhead Gardens, an outstanding example of the English landscape
style of garden. Famous for its large collection of exotic trees, magnificent
vistas with carefully placed classical temples. This was the garden that
inspired the English aristocracy to change the way their estates were
laid out, and adopt the romantic idealized landscapes of paintings by
Claude Lorrain. Stourhead Gardens is a complete dream. Drive by Stonehenge
en-route to London.
